Submit for the Summer 2026 Art Show!

Westford Common Hall is hosting a Summer Art Exhibit—and we want to showcase YOU!

This juried show is intended to highlight unique perspectives, artistic talent and expression from within our Westford community.

If you’re an Artist living within the Town of Westford, this is your chance to share your creativity and be part of a community celebration of art. You will have the opportunity to showcase your work and gain potential sales exposure.

Due to limited exhibition space, all submitted works will be reviewed by a selection committee to determine which ones will be included in the display. If you are interested in participating in this event, please view the information below to learn how to submit your work and understand the selection criteria.

SUBMIT YOUR WORK FOR CONSIDERATION

• Artwork must reflect your unique style and creative process
• Must be ready to hang on a wall (20 lb maximum)
Submit 1–3 pieces by May 15. Please complete the form provided below and submit by May 15.‍ ‍Include artist contact information: full name/phone number/email address and in the bio section provide a short statement that defines your artistic journey and explanation of the work submitted; also include in this section a title, dimensions and weight for each piece of work. Finally, attach a photo of each piece of art to be considered which corresponds to a title in the bio section. Should you be selected to include your artwork in the exhibit, you will be expected to bring the official piece of art (framed or otherwise ready to hang) to the Westford Common Hall on June 14 for installation.
• Your work will be on display from mid-June to mid-September.

ARTWORK SELECTION CRITERIA

Due to limited exhibition space, all submitted works will be reviewed by a selection committee to determine which ones will be included in the exhibit. Each piece will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

1. Artistic Merit. Demonstrates strong technical skill and proficiency in the chosen medium, including composition, craftsmanship, and execution.
2. Originality. Reflects a unique perspective, innovative concept, or creative approach that distinguishes the work from others.
3. Expressive Quality. Effectively communicates emotions, ideas, or a clear artistic message, engaging the viewer on an intellectual or emotional level.

KEY DATES

By May 15: Submit a photo copy of your artwork with requested information
May 15–22: Jury review period
By May 25: Selection notification
June 14 (9 AM–3 PM): Drop-off your artwork for installation at Westford Common Hall, 21 Brookside Rd, Westford
September: Exhibit Take Down (date TBD)
