December Update from the Westford Common Hall

At the December Board meeting for the Westford Common Hall, we were able to move forward some important priorities regarding building maintenance and also for use of the building.

This month had an electrician come to install a secondary electrical panel. This is a particularly exciting development because it enables the Food Shelf to run its newly-donated freezer!

We also moved forward on the creation of a business plan. This is an important development to help the Board, both current and any future Board members, to stay on a course that makes the WCH a vibrant, community-focused space where people can gather. It is also an important step to help funders understand our vision and strategy to operate the WCH.

Speaking of gathering, the Board is now requesting that all unvaccinated visitors to the WCH please wear a mask. Even if you are fully vaccinated, we strongly recommend wearing a mask. It is important for everyone in our community to remain safe and healthy!

In January, we’ll be focusing our meeting time on building a strong budget for 2022.

On January 9 at 4 pm, the WCH welcomes Young Tradition Vermont! This group of children and youth perform traditional music and dance that is fun for all ages. Bring your young musicians to be inspired! Suggested donation at the door.
