Stay strong, active, and independent as you age!
RSVP Bone Builders is a research-based exercise program developed by Tufts University to help prevent osteoporosis in both men and women. It’s also designed to support balance, strength, and confidence as our bodies change over time.

Pop-Up Yoga Classes

Pop-Up Yoga classes will be announced on Mondays on Front Porch Forum, Facebook, and Instagram. Announced classes will take place on available Sundays from 8:30-9:30am.

All classes are offered on a free-will donation basis. Donations will go to support the Common Hall.

What to Expect:

-Grounding postures for stability

-Fluid sequences for mobility

-Core exercises for strength

-Breathwork for balance

-Guided reflection for inner awareness

Doris uses yoga as a framework and weaves in elements from pilates, qi gong, tai chi and more. Please bring your own mat and any tools like blocks or straps. No previous experience with yoga is necessary, though a basic level of fitness is needed (such as the ability to get up and down from the floor).

Yoga teacher and Westford resident Doris Bittruf will be leading a slow-flowing Sunday morning practice she calls Moving Mindfully. Find out more about Doris at happycat.yoga

Buddhist Meditation and Book Group

Join neighbors for a 20 minute sitting meditation, followed by a short reading from our current book and reflection sharing. All are welcome regardless of experience or whether you’ve read the book! Always free, with donations gladly accepted in support of WCH.
