Winding down the festive holiday season, the Westford Music Series will feature SOCIAL BAND, in collaboration with the CHAMPLAIN CONSORT, to bring music and carols inspired by the wintry season. The powerful, lively, Vermont a cappella 25-member choral group join offering a selection of enlivening songs and tunes of midwinter music both instrumental Medieval, Renaissance and Elizabethan traditions and vocals of shape-note, joyful, poetic, folk traditions.
Champlain Consort led by Chapin Kaynor and Social Band led by choral director, Amity Baker, to bring this program of songs from “Winter’s Heart”.
