Rosemary Shea-Cobb
I began watercolor painting after taking an evening continuing-ed course in Burlington many, many years ago. From there, I studied and practiced on my own, fitting things in when I could around my busy work and family life. I spend time on an island in Maine each summer which inspires many of my paintings. I love to paint water, skies, boats and the natural landscape. Clouds in their many forms and shades never cease to amaze me. I seek to capture the lovely shapes of boats and sails, the different moods of the sea and sky, the many colors and textures in rock and the essence of the day in my paintings. I hope you enjoy them.
My images on display here include: Sailing on Lake Champlain; Schooner off Babbidge, Monument.
